Hi there, I’m Khelan!
I’m a student at Arizona State University set to graduate summer 2024. I’ll be graduating with my B.A. degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies.
This blog mostly serves as a portfolio of my writing for my major’s MCO 425, 426, and 427 classes and includes posts on personal topics of interest. I enjoy writing about misinformation in media and societal issues that stem from the media.
Additionally, I’m taking an MCO course on search engine research and strategy where I’m learning about SEO (search engine optimization) and by the end of the course I will will earn a Google Ads certification. I’ll use this blog to apply what I learn on SEO, keywords, search behavior, and search engine marketing.
After I graduate this summer, I plan to transform this into a niche blog about fitness and health. Using what I learn in my courses here at ASU will help me grow my online business as a certified personal trainer.
